Massage Therapy for Maximum Health
At B3 Medical, we see massage therapy as another pathway to wellness. Our experienced massage therapists can address a wide range of challenges. Whether you just need to relax after a stressful time or you are recovering from an injury, our therapists can provide ongoing support and a customized regimen for you.
According to Webster’s Medical Dictionary, massage therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalizing those tissues and consists of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, and/or causing movement of or to the body. According to our staff of expert massage therapists, massage therapy is a tool for achieving physical and mental health.
Our tables provide an open face rest that allows you to lay comfortably facedown with no rotational stress on the cervical spine. Once ready, the massage therapist will knock on the door to assure that you are ready for treatment. Each therapy sessions is approximately 1 hour long in which general and patient-specific protocols are used.
Before your massage at B3 Medical, you’ll be asked to remove clothing to your level of comfort. Our therapist will leave the room while you undress and remove any jewelry or other articles that might interfere with the massage.
Note: The massage is most effective when the massage therapist can touch your skin in areas they will massage, so remove as much clothing as possible to your comfort level. Any areas not being actively treated will be covered by a towel while you rest comfortably on a padded massage table.
